Welcome to Chicago News Post, an independent digital news organization covering the news, policy, business, culture, and public safety across the Chicago metropolitan area.
Our Mission
Chicago News Post was established to deliver clear, accurate, and objective local reporting. We focus on civic accountability, neighborhood development, local commerce, and the vibrant culture that defines Chicagoland.
We serve Chicagoans with reliable, real-time news designed for accessibility and clarity.
Sister Publication Network
Chicago News Post operates alongside our dedicated public safety partner, Chicago Crime Chaser (chicagocrimechaser.com).
While Chicago Crime Chaser offers specialized, hyper-local public safety monitoring, scanner updates, and criminal justice tracking, Chicago News Post serves as our flagship broad-coverage news outlet—addressing city council decisions, neighborhood economic growth, transit updates, dining, and community voices.
Editorial Standards & Transparency
We adhere to strict traditional journalism standards. Our editorial team prioritizes active-voice, hard-news reporting, verifying facts across official city records, law enforcement dispatches, public agency statements, and direct primary sources before publication.
